To Americans, voting comes easy. Because every choice we make is essentially a vote. And while some choices are harder than others, we are happy to face down any chance to make a decision and express our opinions. This doesn’t change when you move away from home. And whether you find yourself on a military base on the other side of the country, or in a country on the other side of the planet, voting back in your home district is still important. And easy. FVAP.gov helps to get your ballot from back home, so you can make your voice heard from wherever you find yourself.
This is the manifesto from which our two new Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) spots were inspired. “Checkboxes” and “Opinions” are a part of a global campaign called “Voting Comes Easy.” As the midterm elections fast approach, FVAP is working to ensure that Service members, their eligible family members and overseas citizens are aware of their right to vote and have the tools and resources to successfully do so – from anywhere in the world. Together, we work to challenge the notion that absentee voting is complicated and burdensome.
Stairs or elevator, paper or plastic, mayo on fries? It’s your vote, your opinion, check out the spots and let us know what you think.
