description

We are seeking a Media, R+D intern to join our Boston Mediahub team.

The Mediahub Spring Internship runs from 3/2/20-4/30/20. We are flexible with student schedules; and interns may work a maximum of 20 hours per week.

Mediahub is one of the hottest and fastest-growing media shops in the U.S. and was just named Ad Age's 2019 Media Agency of the Year. This is coming on the heels of being named a leader in Forrester's first ever wave of major media shops, and in 2018, we were Adweek's U.S. Media Agency of the Year.

If you think the definition of media is a digital banner, an outdoor billboard, or a 30-second commercial spot, refrain from reading the rest of this internship posting. If you view media as a creative canvas that can break convention, get headlines, and be remembered and beloved by consumers, read on.

The R+D (Radical and Disruptive) Lab at Mediahub is looking for a highly creative individual to assist with developing ideas with media partners such as Twitch, Spotify, Refinery29, and Vox.

Our ideal candidate should be curious about media properties and passionate about technology and pop culture trends. A resourceful, ambitious, collaborative attitude is a must.

Essential Duties:
- Brainstorming in team settings and independently to create ideas that can live within media environments like the ones mentioned above
- Providing research to help support ideas and develop Photoshop comps to illustrate them

requirements

- Undergraduate rising senior, graduate student, or recent graduate in a marketing or equivalent program
- Experience in creative development (e.g., a portfolio class)
- Submission of resume and advertising-design-focused portfolio
- Photoshop skills are preferred

You must be eligible to work in the United States to be considered for this role.
