description

We are looking for a Layout Artist to join our Boston Creative Services team.

A well-qualified Layout Artist must have an impeccable attitude and be completely approachable at all times.

This is a fast-paced position, especially when clients and new business pitches are active. Candidates will be busy when we're in presentation mode so the ability to juggle multiple tasks with overlapping deadlines is a must.

Candidates will work with art directors to bring their ideas to life using whatever graphic program it takes to get the job done efficiently and effectively. The vast majority of work will get killed before the client even sees it, so having thick skin is imperative.

Candidate must have a keen eye to detail, knowledge of color theory, and retouch to be able to make images sing in Photoshop!

The work consists of utilizing InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator every day. Assistance in preparing and installing banners and presentation graphics will also be required.

Other programs that would be helpful to know include AfterEffects, Cinema 4D, Skecthup, whatever similar programs it takes to make it look good.

Qualified candidates will prove themselves by establishing good relationships with art directors, becoming the "go to" person in a myriad of situations and scenarios.

Other tasks include:
1. Large format output, trimming and installing.
2. Indesign Layout up to Mechanical.
3. General studio tasks (scanning, image searches, etc.)
