Boston Summer Intern - Media, R+D Lab

MullenLowe Mediahub is seeking a Media, R+D Lab intern.

Making copies, busywork, coffee runs - these are some of the things you'll have absolutely no experience with as part of MullenLowe's Summer Internship Program. Because you'll be doing real work. Real, client-paid-for, heading-out-into-the-world-to-catch-attention-and-change-minds work. And you'll be doing it with some of the most talented people, at one of the biggest-name agencies, in the business.

Mediahub is a media organization that works with challenger brands to destroy the investment chasm through superior intelligence and creativity. Mediahub consists of a large and powerful media organization encompassing media planners, buyers, digital experts, emerging media, and mobile specialists who work with our creative and media partners to develop ideas that consumers seek out, share, and talk about.

If you think the definition of media is a digital banner, an outdoor billboard, or a 30-second commercial spot, refrain from reading the rest of this internship posting. If you view media as a creative canvas that can break convention, get headlines, and be remembered and beloved by consumers, read on.

The R+D (Radical + Disruptive) Lab at Mediahub is looking for a highly creative individual to assist with developing ideas with media partners such as Twitch, Spotify, Refinery29, and Vox. Tasks will include brainstorming in team settings and independently to create ideas that can live within media environments like the ones mentioned above. This individual will also provide research to help support ideas and develop Photoshop comps to illustrate them.

Our ideal candidate should be curious about media properties, passionate about technology and pop culture trends, and already be a marketing student with experience in creative development (e.g., a portfolio class). A resourceful, ambitious, and collaborative attitude is a must. Photoshop skills are preferred.
