We are seeking an experienced public relations professional to join the agency's U.S. marketing team in the role of Agency Communications Lead.

This role is responsible for leading publicity, media relations, community relations, industry relations, and overall agency and executive visibility for the award-winning, creatively-driven, integrated marketing communications agency. The Agency Communications Lead handles all press release writing and pitching and placing stories in trade and general news media related to agency/client campaigns, new business wins, personnel hires and promotions, thought leadership, innovation, organizational changes, cultural initiatives and generally anything that is newsworthy and will help the agency thrive, grow and attract world-class talent and client partners.

We are looking for a strong writer and communicator. A person with strong knowledge of the advertising and media industries is preferred. We want someone who can identify good stories and can help craft the messages in support of these stories. We're looking for a news hound, someone who enjoys working with the news media, cultivating positive relationships based on trust and respect with journalists.

It will be important for the Agency Communications Lead to work quickly and with confidence in partnership with C-Level executives throughout our agency.

There is a steady volume of news to promote at MullenLowe in the U.S. We work with some of the most progressive brands in the world - Whole Foods, JetBlue, E*TRADE, Burger King and Netflix to name several. We break buzzworthy new work all the time. We are regularly in pursuit of important new business opportunities. MullenLowe operates a tightknit U.S. network with offices in Boston, NYC, LA and NC. The Manager of Agency Communications works in support of all four offices with local partners mobilized as needed to augment the communications team. We are part of a 65-market global network with talent in key hubs including London, Madrid, Singapore and Sao Paul. The Agency Communications Lead will regularly liaise with the global team.
