We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our New York Public Relations and Social Influence team.
This candidate will be a dynamic, solutions-oriented, go-getter with excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidates must have a fearless approach to media and influencer relations and the ability to come to the table with innovative and creative ideas that capture the attention of consumer, business, tech and trade media. This candidate must be able to work fluidly within a team and independently across projects. This includes managing client communications, timely delivery of projects, daily monitoring, managing specific projects part of a larger campaign, implementation of PR plan including events, media briefings, media relations outreach, influencer programming and more.
Proven track record at getting the big hit, knowing how to tell the right stories and leveraging pre-established relationships and contacts at major national media (print, broadcast, online) is required. Knowledge and practical application of the latest and greatest social media practices and programs are important for this role.
- Four year degree required.
- A minimum of five years agency or client-side experience.
- The candidate must be able to write and/or edit all basic and advanced press materials, brand messaging as well as content across multiple digital formats.
- Past experience interacting with executive level clients is required.
- Prior experience across business, personal finance, tech and/or healthcare preferred.
- Excellent presentation skills.
